Why do humans build a climate-controlled box, fill it with metal, charge $50 a month for access to it, and call it fitness — when the original fitness system ran free for 300,000 years, required no membership, accepted no credit cards, and produced every physically capable human who ever lived before 1970?
The question contains the answer. We removed ourselves from the system that built us and then had to simulate it indoors. The gym is correct given the constraints. It is also the funniest thing the species has done — paying to replicate the physical demands of a life we voluntarily gave up. Filed without judgment. With some judgment.

The male lion eats first. He did not hunt it. The lionesses coordinated, surrounded, chased, and brought it down. The male then walks over. Female hyenas are larger, more aggressive, and socially dominant over every male in the clan. The matriarch runs everything.
